Accessories & Supplies for Cuvettes spacer

Cell Storage Box - A standard plastic storage box for rectangular cells has a foam lining that holds and protects the cells. The box comes in two sizes, two cells or four cells. Boxes for cylindrical cells are also available.

Cuvette Rack - This cuvette rack holds up to 12 cuvettes of 10 mm pathlength. It features a hinged lid with a secure clasp. The rack is made of polypropylene and includes a removable insert for ease of cleaning. The rack can accommodate cells up to 60 mm in height. The racks stack neatly to save space.

Teflon Cover-Rectangular Cell - These fitted Teflon Covers (TC) fit cell Types 1, 3, 9, 17, 18, 29, 55 and 57 in pathlngths 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 50 and 100mm. Specify pathlength and cell type when ordering.

Teflon Stopper-Cylindrical Cell - These tapered Teflon Stoppers (TS) fit cell Types 21, 23, 23-x, 24, 29, 53, 57, 58, 62 and 63.

Teflon Stopper-Rectangular Cell - These tapered Teflon Stoppers (TSCC) fit cell Types 32 and 34.

Cell Holders spacer

Cell Compartment Spacers - Black anodized aluminum spacers are available in three sizes for use with 1, 2 and 5 mm pathlength cells, supporting them in a normal 12.5 mm x 12.5 mm holder where there is no cell holder pathlength adjustment facility.

Demountable Cells spacer

DIR or FTIR Demountable Cells - These demountable cells can be used to examine films, mulls and liquids. The cells fit into and work in all infrared spectrophotometers. Included with each cell are two neoprene gaskets, two rubber O-rings and two each of the following Teflon spacers; 0.025 mm, 0.050 mm, 0.10 mm, 0.20 mm and 1.0 mm. In addition, complete instructions are included on how to cast a film, make a mull and handle a liquid. Large knurled nuts allow the cell to be assembled and disassembled quickly and easily. The 002 cell has aluminum plates and uses a 38.5 mm x 19.5 mm x 4 mm window. It is for use in DIR (Dispersive Infrared) instruments. It comes with spacers and gaskets for 38.5 mm x 19.5 mm rectangular windows. The 102, 112 and 202 cells have stainless steel plates. The 102 and 202 cells use 25 mm x 4 mm or 25 mm x 5 mm windows, while the 112 cell uses 13 mm x 2 mm windows. The 102 and 112 cells are for use in FTIR instruments, while the 202 cell can be used in DIR or FTIR instruments. The 102 and 112 cells have a 10 mm opening, and the 202 cell has an 18 mm opening. All cells come with Teflon spacers and neoprene gaskets. Windows must be purchased separately for all four cells. See pages 9 to 11 for windows.

Press-Seal Demountable Cell - Designed for optimum performance, the Press-Seal Demountable cell enables the user to analyze mulls and smears without the use of clumsy springs, nuts, bolts, etc. Assembly of the cell requires only two crystal windows 25 mm diameter by 4 mm thick, one Teflon spacer and the user’s sample. The cell consists of a back plate of anodized aluminum, a self locking barrel with an O-ring which holds the cover on and off with ease, and assorted spacers. The cell pathlength can be varied through the use of different spacer thickness.

Screw Type Demountable Cell Kit - The Screw Type Demountable Cell Kit is a convenient, low cost, easy to use demountable cell. This cell is used for qualitative analysis of liquids and Nujol mulls. Assembly is accomplished by placing the sample between two crystal windows separated by a spacer into the threaded female holder and turning the male threaded holder until the cell is sealed. The Screw Type Demountable Cell Kit uses 25 x 4 mm crystal windows and spacers. The aperture of the cell is 19 mm. The cell comes complete with a back plate, crystal/sample retainer and assorted spacers, but without windows.

Universal Sample Holder - This spring-loaded clamping holder can hold thin films, single windows, mulls between two windows or samples up to 25 mm thick. There are no screws or nuts to bother with and samples can be loaded on the bench top or in the instrument. Simply depress the lever and place the sample under the special ring. The sample holder is made of anodized aluminum that has been further treated to withstand lab solvents. The special ring head is stainless steel with a silicone rubber “O” ring for positive contact and sample protection. A neoprene rubber gasket is supplied to go between the bottom plate and the sample.
